After six weeks of hard work and effort, we have finally finished our robot! We bag and tagged it, and we are ready for the competition. Since we are allowed to work on up to 30 pounds of unfabricated material by leaving it out of the bag, we will continue to refine our shooter. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the competition!

As always, AIM Robotics was at the Udvar Hazy's annual Air and Scare Halloween event. There, we explained kids concepts about flight, technology, and science. We helped kids learn these concepts using interactive flight simulators, making learning about flight fun. We also talked to kids about FIRST, and gave highschoolers who were interested an oppurtunity to join the team. We also helped younger kids to find the resources to create or join FLL teams.

On September 10th and 11th, we had a booth at the Burke Centre Fall Festival, held annually at the Burke Centre Conservancy. There, we displayed our robot, and explained to the community, what FIRST, and our team is. There, we found other kids and mentors from the community interested in robotics, and gave them an opportunity to become a part of our team. We also provided the information and resources for younger kids, to become a part of the FIRST Lego League organization.
